The Gaitherin is largely run by volunteers.

The organisation of the Gaitherin is a mammoth task!  It would make the task much simpler if we could take registrations earlier.  This year we couldn't organise transport and there were no t-shirts because so many bookings came at the last minute. How far in advance would you be prepared to register your child for the October Gaitherin (Provisional dates 11th to 15th October 2010)?
Are you aware that there is an Easter Gaitherin for primary school age participants?  (Provisional dates 5th to 9th April 2010 – the second week of the holidays)
