Gaitherin Special Meeting You may be aware that earlier this year, the Gaitherin moved from being what is known as an “unincorporated body”, to become a Company Limited by Guarantee. Many charities have gone down this route and the move has put us on a much firmer footing. We are still a charity and we still need lots of support from parents and friends! However, there is one piece of business still to finish up on the previous organisation. The annual accounts for the Gaitherin to the end of March 2007 still need to be approved. This is normally done at the Annual General Meeting. However we do not intend having an AGM for the new company until after March 2008. So we are going to have a Special Meeting of the unincorporated body on Sunday 2 December 2007 at the Port Elphinstone Community Flat starting at 7 pm. The only item on the agenda will be the approval of the accounts. It won’t take long but we will need at least seven people to be there in order for it to be official. The meeting is open to anyone with a genuine interest in the continuing good health of the Gaitherin. We welcome participants, parents and friends. If you are able to come it would help if you can let us know by
